Kaedra’s dressing gown for Three Phantoms… this weekend!!

Each of the dressing gowns are a little bit different.  They are all the same basic pattern with the same ruffles, etc.  But the details (belts, trims, etc) - small stuff - vary just a little bit.

This gown features ribbons and pearl accents.  It has lace on the sleeves, with a hand-threaded white satin ribbon through the openings in the lace - a bow ties the ribbon together at front, and a jeweled flower sits atop the bow on each sleeve.  The belt has the applique used on the other belts, along with two ribbon flowers with pearls in the center, and beaded trim along the bottom of the belt.  The front of the belt is made of satin ribbon, although I did not do the faux ribbon-tie like in the real gown, I decided to keep it simple.  I did add two lovely white tassels near the opening though.  The back is very detailed with multiple trims accenting the bodice.  The back of the belt has the same lace trim used on the sleeves, and a ribbon laced through it with a flower in the center.  The engageantes are slightly in the middle of the other two gowns (one had shorter engageantes, and one had longer engageantes).

Closeups and detailed photos coming in the next post.
