WORK IN PROGRESS, NOT COMPLETE!!!

Kaedra’s YOUR dressing gown if you choose to bid on it next week (details coming after this weekend).

Here’s a look at the state it’s in now.  It still needs a belt, which I’m decorating right now.  The theme of the first gown was sort of “sequins”, and the second gown was kind of “roses”, so this theme is going to be about ribbons.

The lace on the sleeve (3rd photo) is going to have white ribbon laced through the holes in the center and come out in the front, tied with a bow.  I’m putting a faux ribbon tie on the belt (like the real gown) and some tassels, because I GOTTA HAVE ME SOME TASSELS on my gown.  Depending on time management, I may add more details.  Not sure.  I may add more details on the gown before it goes up for auction as well.

Note — if you’re a very tall woman (way over 5’ 4”) I can always add a ruffled hem at the bottom of the gown to “extend” the height of the costume.  Easy fix.  And I don’t have specific measurements yet, but I’m estimating it will be suitable for sizes 10 through 14.  More details will come when the auction info’s available.  If I use eBay, I will be starting the bid at $60… a STEAL.  If I use my own private website, I’ll be doing the auction in a different way… which I’ll explain.  I have to look at fees and whatnot.

I will also POST SOON about the sheer dressing gown which will be cheaper too.  I’ll put that one on eBay because the fees won’t be so bad.  It will all be coming after this hectic weekend.

Photos of the finished gown, hopefully, will come tomorrow.
